This is a workshop for all levels, designed to encourage you where you are at in your creative journey.

Saturday morning will be structured colour mixing exercises done as a group.
Saturday afternoon, and all day Sunday will be an opportunity for you to focus on one or two paintings. I share everything I have learned thus far in my vocation.

I encourage a quiet and focused atmosphere. The workshop is held in my home and studio with two or three participants in each room.

I believe in a warm approach, with an emphasis on our unique life experience and a tender regard towards our particular individual voices.I work largely in acrylics, but participants are welcome to work in the medium of their choice. ​

Materials required:

• Minimum palette: Titanium White, Cadmium Yellow, Yellow Ochre, Cadmium Red, Alizarin Crimson, Ultramarine Blue, Cerulean Blue, Dioxane Violet, Quinacridone Magenta

• Easel 

• Small table for paint/palette

• Panel or Canvas (I prefer wood panels) 12-30" in width

• Any relevant photo references

• Paintbrushes, water containers, mixing palette, rags

• Bring your own lunch
